Meet Sheryl
Professional guidance, grounded in real-life motherhood.
I’m Sheryl Gould—a parenting educator, author, coach, and founder of Moms of Tweens and Teens. For 18 years, I’ve helped thousands of moms navigate adolescence with practical, research-informed tools that strengthen both parents and their relationships with their kids.
I’ve been married for 36 years, and I’m a mom of three adult children and grandmother of four. In my own parenting journey, our family has faced challenges including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and addiction, so I understand how complicated, frightening, and isolating these seasons can feel.
I don’t coach from a place of perfection. I bring professional experience, deep compassion, and the perspective that comes from living through hard seasons in my own family.
“Sheryl never makes me feel less than. She openly shares the light parts of parenting, the dark parts, and the lessons she has worked so hard to understand. Her honesty challenges me to think in ways I wouldn’t have considered on my own. I’m deeply grateful for her authenticity, wisdom, and servant’s heart.”

Before we begin
What if I don’t know how many sessions I need?
That’s completely okay. Start by reaching out. We can talk about what’s happening and choose the amount of support that makes the most sense.
Can my spouse or co-parent join?
Yes, when it would be helpful and everyone is comfortable participating. We can decide together before the session.
Can you help when anxiety or ADHD is part of the picture?
Yes. Coaching can help you respond more effectively, communicate more clearly, and create supportive boundaries. Coaching is educational support and is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching is future-focused and practical. We’ll concentrate on parenting patterns, communication, boundaries, and next steps. I don’t diagnose or treat mental-health conditions.
What does weekly text support include?
Six- and eight-session packages include text support between sessions for brief questions, encouragement, and help applying what we discussed. Messages are answered during regular weekday hours, typically within 12 hours, and are not intended for emergencies.
What happens after I reach out?
You’ll share a little about what’s going on, and we’ll arrange a brief conversation to make sure coaching feels like a good fit.
You don’t have to keep carrying this by yourself.
Let’s find your next right step.
Bring the situation exactly as it is. We’ll make sense of it together and help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and connection.
