St. Patrick’s Day, Let’s Put Some Shamrocks on Our Kid’s Door to Tell Them “I’m Lucky To Have YOU And Here is Why!”

With your words YOU have the power to change your kids life.

Amidst the frenzy our busy lives we need to remember to pause and take a time out to nourish our kids souls and strengthen our relationships.

Our kids need our encouraging words to fuel their dreams, to know without a shadow of a doubt that we believe in them and love them no matter what they do or don’t do.

Here at Moms of Tweens and Teens, we are always looking for simple ways to help you to build your kids up and show them how much they mean to you.

So this St. Patrick’s Day, we are going to provide you with Shamrock printables and affirmations to help you to connect with your tween and teen’s heart and to build them up.

Our kids need to hear, “I’m SO lucky to have YOU in my life. Our family wouldn’t be the same without you and there is no one like YOU.”

Your positive and encouraging words bring life to your tween and teen’s heart (even though they might not show it they desperately need it).

They need to know that you notice all the good stuff they’re doing but so often forget to say.

They need to know they matter and that no matter how many times they fall down, that you’re standing there believing in them and cheering them on

Let’s speak encouraging and affirming words loudly and find opportunities to create a ripple effect of positivity in our tween and teens heart, life and our family.

So, we challenge you to cut out these Shamrocks and write an affirmation or message of why you and the world are lucky to have them in it.

Every morning starting today or on St. Patrick’s Day (or whenever you want to!)  stick one of these Shamrocks somewhere your child is sure to see it.
